Agaete is the most iconic village located in the north of the island, it gives you the opportunity to experience breathtaking views.
This municipality is well known for its fishing traditions and sea culture, as well as for being surrounded by greats and beautiful mountains.It is consider to be a place where its fishing and agricultural traditions are mixed perfectly with the hospitality and kindness of the local people.
Agaete offers beautiful nature and typical seafood dishes, as well as a great variety of outdoor activities. It is a place where you can enjoy nature with wonderful routes among spectacular and idyllic landscapes.
The route begins with an uphill to “La Era de Berbique”, facing a 400 meters of difference in height. Without any doubt, this route is the perfect choice for those who are high skilled hikers, but at the same time is up to anyone who likes to enjoy nature in a unique scenery.
This route will make you discover the most beautiful natural places and all the most hidden secrets of the area at the foot of "Macizo de Tamadaba".
