Summit of Gran Canaria Route

We shouldn’t forget to add one of the busiest hiking areas in Gran Canaria to our programme. We are treated up on high to the most emblematic site for the island’s inhabitants, namely the Roque Nublo, with its geological beauty and rich history. Next to this are another two rocks, called El Fraile (friar) and La Rana (frog), whose peculiar shapes make this fascinating spot definitely one not to be missed.

The route runs almost entirely through a pine forest located within Los Llanos de La Pez, the largest recreational expanse along the summit of Gran Canaria, bordering part of the crater at Caldera de Tejeda along the way.


This is a straightforward footpath that allows both amateur and professional hikers to take full advantage of the stunning scenery all around. The landscape here is simply magical, where land fuses into sky in perfect union.
