The town of Tejeda was the stage for the first winter walking festival in Gran Canaria. This edition consisted of the following natual activities: trekking and visiting the interpretation center of Roque Bentayga and the highest situated wine cellar of Spain. All the activities finished on the town center of Tejeda with guided tour through its historic center and museums.

This beautiful route is recommended for hiking lovers. It boasts of astonishing views over the Volcanic Crater of Tejeda, Roque Nublo, Roque Bentayga and the Island of Tenerife.
This route boasts of a volcaninc breathtaking landscape, which shows a very rough terrain due to millions of years of erosion. This continuous process has carved rocks in peculiar shapes that have been charged of symbolism to the inhabitants of Gran Canaria.
