Some irregular rock formations will take us to a world of fantasy and legend.
This route begins in a municipality full of tradition, history and aboriginal past.
"Agaete" is synonym of nature, sensations and flavours. In its valley, there are
plantations of tropical fruits, coffee and delicious wines. Wonderful coastal scenery
with a fishing tradition is set into the rugged landscapes, leaving an unforgettable set
of memories to all who visit the town.
These beautiful and unique trails are the perfect hiking option.
The route starts in “Barrio de San Pedro”. In this district, we will go up a hill to "La
Era de Berbique" where we will walk down about 400 metres; this route is just
perfect for the most demanding hikers, although it is accessible to anyone who
wishes to be in direct contact with nature in a one-of-a-kind location.
From here, we will go to “Lomo del Manco” where we will take in some near-to-
perfection views of “Agaete” before reaching its iconic harbour named “Puerto de las
Nieves”.
The route ends at the "Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra", a balcony facing the unique
cliff of the north coast of Gran Canaria where we can enjoy amazing views of the
sea. A paradise for relaxation in an enclave of volcanic rock of the sea town of "Villa
de Agaete". There, we will go for a gastronomic tasting of local cuisine, rocked by
the murmur of the waves.

The lands of San Pedro and La Vecindad de Enfrente are
located in the valley at the foot of the impressive cliffs of Tamadaba. San
Pedro takes its name from a small chapel. On the eve of the place´s
festivity, all the inhabitants of San Pedro actively participate in the “rama
chica” (small branch), where it is a tradition for the elders to carry the
Saint during the procession.

Cuevas de Berbique / Visvique
Archaeological site which consists of thirty
caves that make up the village located at the end of the Valley of Agaete,
on the road that climbs from San Pedro to Tamadaba. The location
provided visual control over the surrounding territory which, together with
the difficult access to the area, supplied good defensive advantages.
