Wine & Water Route
At 1,920 m altitude, the Pozo de los Canónigos kicks off our route, taking us around the Camino de 7 Fuentes, so called because it runs along the 7 main natural water springs spread out along the way, and from where part of the island gets its water supplies.
If you are into wine, this is the route for you, as you will be able to marvel at one of the most important sites of ecological wine production on the island.
You will be able to appreciate the Pozos de las Nieves, meaning snow wells, where snow was stored before being moved down to the capital for different uses.
